RARE 1970s Eidai Grip Japan "Batboat" Plastic Car - "motorized" Batman's boat moves on water when you pull the yellow diver on the string ( boat propeller spins when you release the string); a very rare Japanese red/white plastic batboat with red decals, light blue turrets and red Batman figure; clear plastic dome; colorful graphics of the Gotham city skyline;
styled after the late 1960s classic TV series batboat without the official licensing ( similar to the red/gold/blue tin batmobiles); item is complete; there are brown tape spots underneath the box that show where the dome was taped to the box ( cellophane tape has distinegrated after nearly 50 years); backside of box shows images for the pull string action of the boat;
