    Lot of 2 Vintage Antique pre WW2 US Carrier & Battleship, ‘Tootsietoy’ design in Plastic toy ships
    Condition: Very good considering age, Handpainted, Plastic, Clean, Solid

    Slightly smaller replicas of the famous diecast ‘Tootsietoy’ 6” designs in Plastic, hand-painted (nicely done).
    DIFFICULT TO FIND OTHERS LIKE THEM !
    Incorporated as pieces to a ‘Floor Game’ - “Pacific: Guadalcanal” (designed by me circa 1975).
    CARRIER: 5.5” Rough 1928 configuration (8 - 8” guns removed Mar. ’42) of the famous CV2 Lexington (sunk Coral Sea 5/42) and CV3 Saratoga - damaged several times, survived, 8 Battle Stars. 888’ length = 1:1937 Scale - Compatible with 1:2000 Scale. Note the 9 F4F Wildcats on deck.
    BATTLESHIP: 5.25” Rough configuration of the famous BB38 Pennsylvania (sunk/refloated Pearl Harbor - survived) and BB39 Arizona (sunk Pearl Harbor) the only U.S. BBs to carry 12 - 14” guns, they had a Single smoke-stack and 16 - 5” Guns in 8 dual turrets. 608’ length = 1:1390 Scale - Compatible with 1:1250 Scale.
    Background ships are 1:1250 Scale for photo presentation and perspective and are not included.
